STEAM Server Maintenance
I like the messages. Easy to close and sometimes I spot a deal I want.
As far as DRM goes Steam is one of the nicer ones around. I actually like Steam because it keeps everything organised and updated.
You want DRM to complain about then complain about the ones that limit your installations and require constant connection to a server for singleplayer games etc.

I have no issues with Steam thanks.
Huh? I don’t have a problem with STEAM nor with their style of DRM.
I only mentioned the pop-up setting in response to Cep

"No longer disconnect server if Steam connection is lost and grace period ends "
In the new patch
I think one of the BRINK patches fixed the XP issue so that you do keep XP earned that round.

The Pop-up messages from STEAM can be disabled in STEAM–> Settings --> Interface
Yeah saw that later in the day, good call by SD on that fix.

Thanks for the info on that setting.

As for Steam, I’ll agree it seems to be better than most but I am never going to trust DRM. As a software developer myself I know there are less invasive ways to protect software from the mainstream piracy it is supposedly there to prevent, without forcing end users to effectively use a cloud environment, which effectively knows when your on your computer and what products your using.
