Steam Overlay?

Anyone’s else’s steam overlay not working in DB lately? Mine for some magical reason has stopped working, and is there any fix?

It works just fine for me and I haven’t heard any friends mention it not working or anything in Discord lately…but I don’t catch a lot of the chat in Discord so take that with a grain of salt.

Things you could do is reboot your PC if you haven’t already. Make sure you’re not using other programs that also have overlays (Discord overlay, MSI Afterburner, Mumble, TS3, etc. etc). Some of those might be making the steam overlay throw a fit. Make sure your overlay options in Steam are correct. All pretty basics steps you probably already did but I figured I’d offer them up.

@cristianmost Is there a reason why you disagreed with this post that is only asking a question about a potential problem they are having? Or was it an accidental miss-click?

Now that you mention it, there have been a few times where my steam overlay wouldn’t come up at all, and sometimes all my hotkeys and settings get reset :confused:

Its a bug. happens in a lot of games. not very common, though not rare

Happened to me once. A quick reset in steam settings always do the trick.
