Steam overlay isn't working, is turned on in settings

Somehow I don’t have steam overlay in Dirty Bomb this really annoys me. I can’t invite people to game nor see a notification.

Hmm works for me, make sure you don’t have anything key-bound in-game that can cause problems.

Nope because when I click on the friend tab in main menu and I click on “send message” there is a pop up that says “Steam overlay needs to be enabled to use this feature”

reinstall steam? i’ve no real clue, as it works fine for me

I had this happen to me yesterday. A PC restart did the trick, and now its back to normal. Im sure you’ve tried this, but this is what worked for me.

mine isnt ether ive tried restarting, guess ill try uninstall

I’ve tried everything uninstalling steam, the game, restarting PC ect. Non worked :C
