Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t your credit card info displayed censored anyways? Exactly so this can’t happen?
And doesn’t paypal require a separate login anyways? I know mine does.
So I don’t feel there’s anything to worry about right now, especially since Steam apparently closed the shop. I mean, I’m logged out and I can’t even log in.

As someone with multiple relatives directly in the IT service industry, there’s always people on emergency shifts. Kinda like in hospitals. They’re not in the office necessarily, but they have business phones and laptops so they can log into work and fix stuff at 3am if necessary.

I still cant login to steam. I at least don’t have any payment information saved (that I can think of) and bugger all in my steam wallet.
I cant play dirtybomb tho and make progress to my all important trinket. Many upsets.

Yup, pretty much. Everything but the last 4 digits of your card would be censored and would hopefully ask for validation upon you logging in from a different IP than the system knows. And Paypal would require another auth as well to use.
I wonder if anybody who uses the mobile guard system would even let people into their account since it’s an external auth source that most likely wouldn’t play nice with the “misconfigured cache server”. I’d wager not.
