Im getting a similar error except its crashing me straight to desktop without any errors, and im not launching steam in offline mode either

Start game can run fine perfectly for how ever long, leave a server close down the game play sometime later may or may not work properly, and then some times i will get get a random crash to desktop with no error or message(event viewer has nothing), and in-game when this happens to me other people can see a message that says “could not authenticate user neg” and then i can sometimes get back in perfectly other times it will do it again a few minutes later.

…I would suggest using Steam to verify your game cache or, failing that, delete your local game content and re-update via Steam. If you keep a copy of the videos folder that you patch in after Steam has deleted everything else, the download will take a lot less time.

already tried this, the CTD still happens randomly, with no one thing causing it

Yours is a different crash to the other thread, neg. I’ll need to see a Dxdiag from you (see sticky).
