If I hit escape in game to bring up the spawn menu overlay I’m stuck there. I can navigate through it’s options but I can not get back into the game and just have to quit to desktop. Tried setting up all my keybinds but still no go.

Same thing happens to me when I press the L key. I can’t close the spawn menu at all and I need to disconnect from the server. Really annoying.
Long shot here but what keyboard are you using?

Yes I get this ‘softlock’
On PC, Win7x64 Ultimate.
I am not sure what key press causes this, or if it just randomly occurs- It usually happens when returning from the menu whilst in game.
The screen shows the normal view, but no key will work or mouse. If I press Esc the menu comes up, and and is fully functional.
I have checked to see if the keys are binded (as I saw another poster mention this) but all is in order.
The only way to fix this is to restart the game, no big deal …normally… except for me this causes the entire game to freeze, and is only able to be closed by task manager.
I thought this problem and some others I have been having were on my end, but after re-installing and reading some posts it seems its not just me.
I really hope this weeks patch fixes this as I think the game is great, and has a bright future if the current obvious bugs are fixed.
P.S dont change any of the gameplay mechanics, they are just fine - just might take a bit longer for some to ‘get’ the game…
