I’m not sure if it’s both of these or one of them but this happens pretty often and it’s frustrating trying to sprint between battles or into a battle and the game forces a reload when I don’t want one.

I obviously don’t intend on reloading while going into combat and I’m using shift to sprint, ctrl to jump and arrow keys to move. My reload key is delete. The likelihood of accidentally hitting the reload key is basically zero. Position your right hand on the arrow keys and think of using left/right, up, shift and ctrl while hitting reload (delete) at the same time =).
A lot of left handed people who use their left hand for mousing use arrow keys. It’s fairly common still in my experience!
Yep I’m actually right-handed but I aim with the mouse in my left hand and use the arrow keys.
So is anything going to be done about this or is it just going to be acknowledged that I reported it? It seems like there would be a debug client or cvar to provide more information on or that you’d want atleast SOME kind of information in order to diagnose the problem and fix it.
With the information and video provided we QA in house (I work at nexon) then report our findings to the appropriate parties.
I wish I could find something that overlays a keyboard and shows which keys I’m pressing :>.
This may be an issue with the game not recognizing KP_DEL correctly. Whenever the game turns off numlock for me I notice that KP_DEL always gets recognized as reload. I think this may be actually occurring while I’m crouching, and not due to the sprint or jump bind. This means the game can still recognize KP_DEL as DELETE even with numlock enabled.
This is one of the most frustrating bugs ever and gets me killed on a daily basis. Since this is a major gameplay issue I hope this is near the top of the list. Not only right-hand aimers play this game, keep this in mind.
My binds:
KP_DEL - crouch
DELETE - reload
would love for this to be fixed, I’ve been unable to do my desired movement to avoid taking damage since I started playing due to this bug.
