I finally got a few rounds in on this new update. I have done a few posts like this so I can capture my initial reaction.
I will start off with balance. I have yet to try all the guns that were changed however:
Fragger Nade to 170 (180) was not really noticeable. I was a little extra careful and bad sure I was placing my nades right where I want them.
Blishlok - Feels better. Less bouncy and for sure noticed the biggest change when a medium to long range trying to gib a downed body with IS (Green Dot) It was shot on. I will need to test more.
Dreiss AR - Gun feels much better but something is still odd… Are Hit sounds bugged with this gun. I do not remember hearing a body hit sound. I am not getting the feeling I am hitting someone. I need some more practice and time with this gun but I really wish I was dinking more heads… Baffles me… I will keep grinding it but something feels odd ever so slightly.
PROXY - Love the mine changes! Can blow up Bridge pump even faster now and the range is perfect! I was actually getting kills with my mines!!
- Hollunds 880: After much practice I was finally getting a handle on the ROF. The gun is a little frustrating if you are on the receiving end but shotguns are in a good spot.
Shotguns: One thing that does need to be addressed is shotgun or any gun wall spam. Im sick of shotting aura’s or proxy feet while the float in air spamming wall jump and raging my head. Wall jump and max spread and or no IS when jumping! Please fix.
THUNDER: Thunder is still lack luster and more of a pain in the back side if you have one on your team. Basically he does more harm then good. Rambo Rhino is much more OP and much more fun to play.
I have not tried the SMG-9, Timik or Grandeur yet but Im sure I will put them to the test and look forward to it.
I tried to get into a ranked MM but gave up after 5 minutes of a 3 man que. So I can not speculate or say anything good or bad about this. I did watch a few streams yesterday and a lot of old bugs in Ranked MM seem to be back. I will also say that I thought the “Showing Ranks in Lobby” would be cooler and actually have the picture of the rank. I was wrong and have to… ugh… READ it… haha!
Everyone knows my thoughts on receiving the highest rank gotten. I love this! I can grind to Elite and then have fun with friends and not worry about down ranking other then the fact that means I am losing and probably not having fun anyway. BUT that takes the stress out of losing and also losing my shiny trinket.
TRINKETS!!!
I was super pumped for Trinkets! I still sort of am but after getting in game and running around they are very unnoticeable. I play with a very low CFG and I could barley tell it was there. I did go into my CFG and turn up all the weapon graphic setting to high. Tweaks I made are HERE. These tweaks made the trinkets and gun pop out a little more but my gun and trinkets were still dark and unimpressive.
In an FPS game where you are trying to get every frame and every advantage possible having something on your gun and even your gun skin is muh at best. All my skins look like oil paintings and yes the idea of having a good card or trinket is awesome its not so awesome in game unless I want to sacrifice performance for shiny things. So people are all for this however I am not.
Limited Edition ‘What the Dickens?’ Loadout Cards
The Skins are EPIC… The augments and gun being attached to them are not.
You know what is also not epic this random case peopling or RNG!!! I got zero CW cards and I am assuming I will get zero WtD cards.
I have posted my thoughts on how to fix this and even if the idea isnt fully taken I hope that aspects of it are. It will be a huge over haul to redo the card system and I personally will wait for it and welcome it with open arms in a year+ haha 
Augments:
Blaa No real interest…
Updated the advanced settings section in the video options menu
Changed name of One Frame Interval to Thread Sync and inverted the behavior
Off - Improved performance at the cost of input latency
On - Reduced input latency as the cost of performance
This messed a lot of people up but luckily I inverted it in my CFG before ever playing so I did not notice a difference. I was still holding my Frames steady.
I did notice some ghosting and glitching that I have not experienced before.
Trade Up Discount
I would love to trade up my cards but I would only trade as far as bronze as to not mistakenly trade a bronze up that I need for a useless silver. I;m very lazy and I dont want to take the time to read the augments and specifically select and pick out the bronze I do not use. So I have 15 pages of cards, most of which are useless. GG
Overall I like the idea of this update! IMO its much better then the CW update for the simple balance changes alone. However the RNG and what the trinkets actually look like in game are muhh. This update also had a good amount of bug changes which is nice; however there seems to have been twice as many created especially with ranked MM. People are also experiencing lose of frames and other performance issues that should be looked at.
Have the merc release take a back seat and also any of these RNG events and release 2 back to back performance and bug updates. I would also possible work on things that arent visually limiting that people can buy like the trinkets. I have posted Ideas on this and I think for $1 each or $5 for a bundle would rack in the money! I hope to see my idea on this make it into the game at some point.

PS if you are QQ’ing about shotguns get over it. They will die down soon enough. Did anyone notice that the Ahnuhld-12 did NOT get a buff? Thats because we have been playing with a shotgun that has been this strong the entire time and SD buffed the others to get the other a little more even. Yes they are annoying to die to but maybe you should kill the person welding it a little faster.
(And also limit wall spamming will help)
PPS - Do public servers reset? Over time they seem to get laggy’er and laggy’er…
