Sometimes when I want to group two or more brushes, I select the brushes and then right-click in the 2D windown and select func group.

not sure what you mean but you can join 2 brushes together with CSG Merge (if they fit together) , split with the clipper tool ‘x’
How to split several brushes by using clipping tool ? (Step by Step)
select multiple brushes, press x and do a split through all of them… if it’s not that i really don’t understand the question
I still don’t know howto split these brushes with clipping tool :eek: :eek2: :eek3: :???:

select a brush
Press the Clipper button (or choose Selection>Clipper>Toggle Clipper from the menus)
Click on the brush where you want the split to START
Click on the brush where you want the split to END
…and then…
5a) to split the brush, press SHIFT+ENTER
…or…
5b) to clip the clockwise part of the brush, press ENTER
or
5c) to clip the opposite side of the select brush, press cntrl-enter, and then ENTER.
