Splash, make the stat site show our versus campaign stats too

(Schwarzeis) #1

From a Bethesda Moderator

Why is this Splash?

Versus Campaign is basically Standard Freeplay, or am I mistaken now?

I mean… Alot of people have played the campaign versus so they can play their favorite map on their favorite side, but with players - or well, with some players.

What I am saying is… The stat site says I’ve only played this game for 5 hours, yet I have 2 Lvl. 20s I leveled up in Versus Campaign, it has not recorded everything I’ve done, for I am pretty sure I have played more than Soldier and Engineer - this low stat is probably there for other people too, who like me have played the campaign versus

The stat site is supposed to show people’s stats, but as of now they pretty much don’t, it’s like… Showing the holding-stick of an ice cream but not the ice cream itself, we can’t really see what people have done since it’s not their full/real stats

What I am suggesting is… Make the stat site show our Campaign Versus stats too, for it too is supposed to be online versus humans, like Freeplay Standard

Ask the people responsible for the stat site. Splash Damage is not involved more than peripherally.

(Schwarzeis) #3

Splash Damage has no control at all over the stat site for their own game?

(Cheerio) #4

Give it time. It is its first day up. Wait for the site to refresh tomorrow.

(rumblylizard) #5

There is no point in giving it time Cheerio as its already been confirmed that campaign mode stats are not tracked. I completely agree with the TC - i’ve spent almost all of my time playing campaign and want my stats from that tracked!

Feels a wee bit silly that it says I’ve only played this game for 5 hours, when I have in reality put down more than atleast 40 :l

Maybe I should post this on the Bethesda Forum…

(Herandar) #7

Given that they have very little control over the game itself, you find this surprising?? You see the Splash Damage logo on the front cover of the game?

(Schwarzeis) #8

I…

… no

No, I guess Bethesda holds too many leashes on Splash Damage, but this - no this is just way too silly for me, what the flying forks

Or well… I think it got too silly for me when there was no ‘‘Splash Damage’’ logo on the cover, it’s like… Bethesda is soaking up all the credits? Many times I’ve even seen people complain at Bethesda for making this game, or congratulating Bethesda on making a splendid game

Cant find it where is it?

(Schwarzeis) #10

The thing is that it is not there

(iezza) #11

Its on the back.

(Schwarzeis) #12

Cover, Iezza - the front page you look at when you first go into a store, people usually don’t pick up games to look on the backside for logos

(iezza) #13

But its on the back, thats good enough right? And in the start, they have a much cooler animation than bethesda.

(Schwarzeis) #14

Compared to the Bethesda logo on the front, no - it’s not good enough

And yeah… They get their little stage-light when putting in the disc, but that is when you have the actual disc, not just holding the casing :stuck_out_tongue:

Still a bit weird to not have the actual DEVELOPERS logo on their own game casings, no?

Meh. Who really cares about the campaign anyway. They shouldn’t.
