You are. PC User here and no real problems. Main one was the server lobby laging, but thats sorted. Otherwise, had a very enjoyable experience personally, don;t know what everyone is complaining about
[QUOTE=PublicSafety;314428]Hey… it looks like I am getting somewhere…
… Maybe …
I am active on SD and Beth forums. At least I got something…
Took them 5 days to come up with that response, that’s what they’ve been working on

Omg… go to steam forums bethesda forums and have a closer look at this forum
pc version is horrible
no support for ati at all in any series (one of worlds best selling cards)
and lobby lag wasn’t even one that i had heard of…
i know personally 5 people who bought this game and 3 of them can’t get it to work at all while its soo buggy for the other 2 that they quit playing in the first week
I’m begging someone here to post hi-res clean images of the bad aliasing, specifically for the character geometry. Also, some hi-res clean images of the ultra lo-res sky texture as well as floors/walls. Floors/walls have been posted already here:
Here is a great video blueostrich posted:
Here is a small and quick index of problems presented in the video. NOTE: all of these issues look even worse in full HD.
1:04 First good, but not ONLY, example of bad texture pop
1:32 Extremely lo-res floor texture. Many textures in the game look like this. Not just the floors.
4:57, 5:26 You mentioned a “random blue color overtakes” your screen while sprinting. However, you are not sprinting in either of these examples of blue shadows. I see this on my 40" Sony through HDMI. The shadows ARE ACTUALLY THAT BLUE in this game! The darker the level, the worse the shadowed areas are. I find it odd that few people have reported this issue beyond myself. This is most certainly tied to the overall murkiness of the Xbox version of the game.
6:57 Nothing against you, blueostrich – you can’t tell from the low quality of the video – but here is a good example of the terribly lo-res texture used for the skies I’ve been complaining about. This is easily far worse when viewing it through HDMI, 1080p. It’s one of the uglier textures in the game.
The only thing left to find is a good example of bad jaggies (aliasing). Unfortunately, due to the low quality video, the jaggies have been blurred out. Rest assured they are there. It’s the worst for distant characters (starting at a distance of about 20 feet; give or take) or in the “Be More Objective” challenge seeing all the crossing bars, fencing, and stairways. It’s a mess.
The texture pop is bad, yes, but the ultra lo-res textures and strangely lo-res post process – or whatever it is that is making this look like it’s running on a Playstation 2 – are far worse issues than the texture pop. Does someone have the resources to do great screen grabs of these on the Xbox? I wish I could, believe me I would have done it already. I just don’t want the bad aliasing to go ignored because we didn’t provide “proof” they exist beyond every person on here complaining about it.
And by the way, anyone else experiencing the “blue shadows?”
Check out the video I linked from blueostrich at 4:57 and 5:26. Darker areas are NOT black. They are blue. Adjusting the in-game gamma only makes it worse.
I’ve been a picture quality geek for years. I am what you would call a videophile. I do professional video editing and Photoshop work. My TV is expertly calibrated and I do not experience blue shadows in any other game or film on my set other than Brink. I can not imagine I am the only person experiencing the “blue shadow” issue.
this is happening on the PlayStation 3 also
experiencing that lag in most online games (ping bar is green)
the view snapping around like that makes it impossible to play

Just want to say thanks for linking/uploading these videos (if you did) onto here PublicSafety as SD needed to see how bad it’s been. Still not too sure they’ve even checked this thread or any of the footage yet when really all they need to do is play it themselves on the 360 to see how bad it can be!
:DThank you RobbedCustomer:D. But people, don’t get the wrong idea, I LOVE BRINK. When the game works, it is my favourite multi-palyer game. It’s the way info is being handed out, and the fact that SD is asking for proof. If you want proof, just play the game . This is just another example of game developers not finnishing games before they are released, asking for money upfront, not delivering, and thinking they can fix the game with patches later on…
I am also sad, I keep seeing people who owned Brink, now playing La Noir because of the trade in value, and the lack being able to actually play. This game is dying…
