You are correct, sir.
They are called, “Visioneers”.
Splash Damage recruiting!
I’m probably not what you’re looking for, but I’m coming to see you in August. Maybe by then my modelling will be further along and I will be! Who knows
I applied for the SD Level Designer Position! im still working on my Online Portfolio, Lots of stuff to fill in. But i have experience, and i think i have what it takes to make great levels.
surpised this hasn’t been updated by SD seeing as they are now looking for more new staff
Hi!
Just registered.
I applied for the Texture Artist position.
In the job description it says you will recieve a reply.
We do reply to all applications.
By that, do you mean the auto-generated e-mail?
Or do you mean as in, a personal reply?
Really looking forward to Enemy Territory: QUAKE Warsâ„¢ btw.
cheers
Greetings all,
I’m interested in volunteering our clan (www.junkphreak.com) to help beta test ET:QW as well…could someone PM me (or post here) the correct person to contact?
Thanks,
{JuNk}VMax
.
correct me if i’m wrong, but as far as i’ve read the forum here all beta tests are done by acclaim and the german acclaim page says tests are only in the united states. i think you have to apply there.
edit: it’s of course not acclaim, it’s ACTIVISION. /me was sleepy at time of posting
Just wait for the public multiplayer test, they’re mostly playable and don’t have the nasty ‘quircks’ you have in earlier builds.
Acclaim do our beta testing? This will, I imagine, come as something of a surprise to Activision’s brave band of Activisioneers, who are allowed to do little else. One of the best bits of developing Wolf ET was getting to play it with (and in the same room as) the ATVI testerguys at ATVI High Command. They very kindly didn’t annihilate us. It was great to finally put faces to the names on all the bug reports we’d been wading through : )
oops, sorry, was late night and /me was sleepy, gonna correct it immediately.
this sounds awesome. testing the latest games, travel around the world, having fun, getting paid for it, … i need a new job
here’s some hardcore gamers chance (though not explicitly for ET:QW):

Ive e-mailed Activision and SD about beta testing, neither even replyed.
Oh well, thats how it goes.
I would be interested in offsite testing the TechBeta’s. The Tech betas are the ones that are super buggy. Many times they don’t have half the things working. Of course I’d love to test the later versions of beta also.
Much <3 if you can tell me a way to get in touch with whoever at either SD or Activision about this.
In case anyone missed it on the news page, we’re hiring another artist and an IT guy:
Sorry - “IT Guy” is slang for for ‘Incredible Tea Technician’. Just plain old ‘T’ isn’t good enough round these parts.
Tell Activision you’re going to outsource your QuakeWars beta testing to teh Primer’s development team ( www.bsdterritory.com/forum ). Only truly dedicated ET fanatics should be allowed to touch teh precious source code.
