I can make toast.
You might wanna change the subject line to just two positions now.
has anyone who ‘registered their interest’ with an e-mail gotten a reply yet?
I replied about 3 days ago and haven’t (and didn’t expect to) recieved a response email. Like the pro3dartist said, I just hope they get a chance to look at my previous work. I don’t know how others here feel, but I would imagine for such a position the people reviewing the applications will be pretty busy as they will need to open a few maps and ask a few questions before even getting someone in an interview over there in London. It’s not your typical IT job were someone can just take a glimpse at a resume and a few certs and know they are at least someone worth interviewing.
No I havent recieved a reply yet, which is odd cause last time I got a reply back… maybe its cause I just totaly suck as a level designer
Zombie
Would it be a good idea to apply, even if you can’t accept a new job yet? Do the SplashDamage guys keep a record of applyees?
Anyone here ever work in the industry before applying to one of the positions? I feel like a sperm-cell lost in the birth canal :banghead:
How old do you have to be to join the Splash Damage team?
I’m just asking, but I ain’t joiining because I do not have any skill of the required jobs. I can skin weapons though.
So i just fire off an email ‘with the appropriate position in the subject line’?
No resume, no links, no work samples?
How many textures do you expect from applicants interested in the Texture Artist position?
I thought as well my e-mail got lost in the world wide universe, but after a month or so i got a nice reply.
Which is not normal in this Shark bassin we call Dream job. So lets all cross our fingers, and for all like me who havent got
experience but the determination to make it, the hope dies last.
i sent an email about a high res modeling and game artist position… no reply yet…
