what doesnt work? i think the only thing thats not working on the pc version atm, is the co op option or be able to invite your friends to do campaign and challenges.

afaik, on PC, you use Steam friends list to invite for co-op or challengs

on the xbox version the game is laggy as hell , the teams are always unbalnced and there is never a full server of players

Game works perfectly fine, been playing with friends for total of 27 hours now and loving it.

Inviting friends I’ve found buggy or won’t work at all over lan since it uses your public IP not the private IP. To get around this you can either use the console and type “CONNECT 192.168.x.x” or go to free mode and direct connect and type the private IP or the PC’s name (ie MIKE-PC) in there.

Same deal if you want to join a friend over the net. Get them to give you their IP (whatsmyip.org) and enter it in the ways above.

yeah the game was laggy as all unholy **** for the 360 during release week. Almost unplayable in most cases. They fixed it though, I’ve been getting nothing but good matches lately.
Kid’s got a right to an opinion man, especially when the game was practically useless for the first 3 days.

Lag issues could use improvement (better hosting priorities)
Team AI needs improvement
BALANCING TEAMS needs improvement
Lobby system needed
some command response needs improvement (eg: placing a turret/completing an objective)
Melee hit detection needs improvement

Other than that it’s pretty much butter. And those things are minor improvements, it’s no longer in an unplayable state, so I can wait.
They could definitely afford to look at that though.

Anyway, everyone quit flaming people who complain about Brink. It’s not like any of you have some kind of personal stake invested in it, so who gives a ****? if the kids got legitimate issues, then let him say his piece.
As much as people say “dont like the game? dont play it!”, they should think more about “don’t like the comment or thread? don’t respond!”.

the game was finished SD just has to patch it due to the amount of people playing brink that they could not account for when hosting closed lan parties.:riflenade:

Wow what an atrociously stupid thing to say. But the game on xbox is broken and needs to be fixed. I’m talking about the hard freezes that have been happening to me like crazy since the “update”.

The negativity and straight up lying on this board is killing me. Your post appears to be blatant lying or you have a crappy internet connection and only play when it is off hours every place in the world. When is the last time you played? I’ve gone a week or more now with no lag thanks to whatever fixes SD did. And I have full lobbies all the time and I only play big teams.

As far as “hard freezes” like the above poster suggested me and those I play with (approx 12 people) have not experienced this a single time. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, simply that it hasn’t happened to me or those I know and we play a lot.
