not saying no, because it could be something like that. it will certainly be small, compact and light weight. especially on Resistance side, you could definitely see something crude and fashioned out of left over metal parts scavenged from the shipyard.
Speculation on the UAV
or looking exactly the same in assumption they are stolen.
I reckon it will act like the CoD spy plane initially until you take control, then it becomes like a valkyrie, just not as powerful.
[QUOTE=Jimmy James;342239]Actually, rereading the description, it seems that, unlike the Flyer Drone, the UAV will initially not be under the Operative’s control but the Operative can choose to take control. Whereas the Flyer Drone only had a direct control option.
Maybe, if you place it in an inconspicuous spot it acts like a security camera, automatically spotting any enemies that run past it.

my guess is it will be like the infantry scanner from bf2142. that was such a great tool if used right. nto sure how a flying drone would work with brink’s maps. most are inside…
I am guessing it will operate like third eye camera from Quake Wars with the option to “look at it and press the magic “omni-use” button” to then remote fly it (like the flyer drone) and you can press fire to detonate it.
I think a mini helicopter based design makes the most sense.

It may be hilarious to kill Ops when they are busy controlling the UAV.
I must admit reading the description also brought to my mind the third-eye-cam
But then you wouldn’t call that a UAV, so I doubt that’s correct

Which is why I am thinking a flying 3rd eye, like a helicopter bladed disc, similar in size to the mine, me ole clan mate!
Not sure actually, never played ET, not much of a PC gamer besides some TF2 and maybe a little Total War.
It’s definitely hilarious killing them while they’re using control turret now. So 2x the fun

That’s more along the lines of what I was thinking. And the helicopter idea makes a lot more sense than a plane-type drone.
And I thought I was paranoid before. Wait! Is that just a mosquito buzzing in my ear or SPY CAMERAS EVERYWHERE!
That was always my feeling in ET:QW with the Flyer Drone. Why try to shoot down a drone when you can go blow away Infiltrators that are too preoccupied with their smart phone drone apps.

it’s ‘BFBC2’…
not BBC2…
sounds like a new British Broadcast Channel… now if they had the new episodes of Dr.Who…

Not wrong to call it BBC2 though as Battlefield is not Battle Field.
that makes battlefield 2 B2… i know technically its wrong to say BF2 but it sounds better. its back from when bf1942 came out.
