Specops update

It’s been a while since I posted - lots of real life changes have been keeping me busy. I have been working on the SpecOps mod on and off though. Here’s how things are going:

  • Tickles is doing a new map. Something to do with a submarine I think

  • Added an objective timer, which allows maps where something has to be built/destroyed for a certain length of time to look better

  • Compiling the mod for linux tonight.

  • Tested the mod quite a bit, fine tuned sniping damage.

We’re aiming to release a new version some time next week. Hopefully, it should be playable. Just ironing out the last few bugs.

Another update - I’ve just finished compiling the mod under linux (major headache, but then again thats the short definition of linux isn’t it?). The version currently on the site is for both windows and linux.

Also, someone from gameserverhost.nl has expressed an interest in the mod - so there may be a proper testing server in the near future :smiley:

If any of you feel like it, I would appreciate some feedback from the mod as it is. I’m aware of some bugs but I would think there are some I haven’t spotted.
