went to game today, and had a choice of two options, normal or special. special had the nomad pre order pack and normal did not. they said i had to pay extra for the special. WTF i thought the pre orders were free.

GAME have a special deal with Bethesda it seems. The special edition contains 2 of the pre-order packs. To be fair to GAME, there are many “special editions” released next to standard editions, it’s just that basically everywhere else is selling the packs are pre-order bonuses.

So basically, it’s standard practice for many games to have two versions, you’re just a bit annoyed because the packs are marketed as “pre-order bonuses” everywhere else.

in Game i saw a box. a Cardboard box titled “special edition” And it was 3 x the length of a xbox 360 game box and 3 times the depth atleast. im sure 2 pieces of paper wouldnt fil lthat. and cuddly anger toy. lolwut am i 9yrs old or something…

If you look at Games website the special edition is actually cheaper.

Brink Normal £29.99
Brink Special £27.99

Lol someone at game messed up.

Like others have said Think of the special edition as the preorder bonuses like other sites have done. Its actually a pretty good deal considering you get the DOOM and Spec-ops preorder deals in 1.

That’s the one I’m getting from Gamestation and it’s priced the same as the regular edition. The special edition you saw must have something else besides the two pre-order bonuses in it.

not gamestation but GAME. due to the lack of walmart in uk we get 2 pre order bonuses from 1 retailer but have to pay more, and no that was not the size i saw. it was long. and a carboard box.

When i went to game they said they werent sure about the price and sayd it shouldnt cost much more. i like going there as i know it wont get delayed in post.
