Since Steam itself offers many special characters, e. g. chinese characters, smileys and everything, I noticed a bug while using the console.
Normally, if someone writes something in the chat window, it appears in the console as well. However, I have a smiley-ish sign behind my Steam name, which is converted into a * by Brink and my chat entries do NOT appear in the console. It’s just my name and that’s it.
That is problematic when trying to make screenshots of chat entries, as you probably already can imagine. And since Brink seems to be quite restrictive regarding special characters, this could be an issue for more people than just me.
