Spec Ops DLC now listed in DLC tab of BRINK properties

What is interesting is that SD does not even need to release the Greeneye scope but simply create an identical scope of a different name to add to the existing game. Currently the pre-order bonuses were all aesthetic changes and while some of them would allow you to equip two of the ‘same’ weapon, the Silencer and Suppressor attachments were statistically identical despite having different visuals.

As I have said before there is no in-game version of the Greeneye scope and this is where the problem exists. Simply adding a ‘Pinpoint’ or ‘Blue Lens’ scope would be equally effective while not taking away the exclusivity of the Greeneye. At this point however, releasing just the Greeneye to everyone may be the easiest solution.

The Greeneye is literally just a small COGA. :expressionless:

COGA View

I Cant Find a pic of the view from a Greeneye scope but its more akin to one of the red dot sights than it is to the COGA

@Dr Cowley the Greeneye and COGA both have IDENTICAL lenses, the same dots with the same lines. I’m also fairly sure they provide exactly the same level of zoom. The difference being that the Greeneye is only about 2/3rds the size, so you can still see around the lense itself; your peripheral vision & over the top of the scope slightly, and where the scope attaches onto the gun are all visible.

Incorrect. The lens design is very similar, but they are not identical. Here’s a link to a youtube vid showcasing the Greeneye on some weapons.

Thats the thing though, the greeneye has more or less the same zoom and such as the COGA but it also provides all the peripheral vision of a red dot making it much better in alot of peoples eyes.

Oooh, didn’t realise. Never been able to hold them side-by-side, you see.

And I certainly don’t disagree there.

All preorder bonuses show up as DLC in the game properties. It doesn´t mean they are available for sale from steam (you can find codes for them for sale on ebay though).
