I have this problem. I have a spawn with multiple spawnpoints and I would like to make it so it wont spawn always to the same point (players stucks each other). Like in standardmaps they spawn in different points. What is wrong?
Spawning to a same point all the time.
You most likely copied and pasted all the spawn points. If you want them to work you have place each one by right clicking on the 2d window. Copying them screws them up.
You are right. I copied these. I try if it helps when i get home. I will also try that startactivate. But if I am alone in my server and I kill myself all the time, should it spawn in different points? Or can I see it only if I have more ppl? Thx for the reply! Appreciate it.

You normally spawn at the same point. Even if you only have one group of spawnpoints available, you can change which of those you spawn at using setspawnpt, assuming you have more than one team_WOLF_objective in your map.
Copy/pasting should be OK, but some versions of radiant may mess up the keys or flags when you do it.
The other way to test multiple spawnpoints is to run more than one client on your computer. If you have a modestly recent system, this shouldn’t be much of a problem:
If you run them all from the same install, you’ll have to turn PB off or you will get kicked for dup guid
I could also use bots… Hmm. I copied but I also change always the targetnames (autom. increase by 1) and such so they have the same information, execpt the origin ofc. It’s not a problem to spawn to another group. But that’s the problem to spawn to a different spot of a group (player stucks to each other ^^). I havent tried these stuff yet.
Thx! I figured it out. They are not supposed to be connected in anyway.
edit. Now I understand how the spawns works. But why is there scriptnames setted also, since they didn’t use it in goldrush? Just in case?
