Spawned mid spawn wave when I was still alive, but no death?

Was just playing on Trainyard as Proxy. Went on a 5 man killing spree in close combat with mines and right in the middle of my killing spree while on full health I magically teleported back to our start spawn 500 metres away instantly. No death message, nothing on the screen, and it wasn’t even at a proper spawn wave time. It was 7v7 Objective with a 25 second spawn wave timer and when I appeared back at spawn the spawn wave timer was only on 9 seconds, so I have no idea what happened.

Wasn’t lagging, pretty sure it wasn’t a connection issue, I really don’t know what else to say. Hopefully someone else has had something similar happen and can report it with a video or something.

Lay down the drugs man,
It wasn’t you, you were already ready to respawn, but spectated a teammate instead. Bashing all the buttons, think it was you, then you hit Space and bam, you actually respawned.

Haha @Matuno. My friends could back me up. My mate Quantum was using Phoenix right behind me and he was like “what the hell you just vanished where did you go”
