I have done a map with 1 spawn are, divided into 2. I mean that on the command map there is 1 flag for that spawn area, but 16 spawn points are on one side of the building and 16 are on another. I have found that players spawn only on one side, and never on another (< 16 players per team). Are these spawn point chosen randomly, or is there any way to change the order of the spawn points? Say even on the left and odd on the right? I used clone on the spawn points entity.

In your map, do you have two bases (one for each team)? In one base (for example Allies) there is a spawn area with 32 CTF_bluespawn entities? And 16 of those are on one side of a building and 16 are on the other side? This I what I interpret from your question.
Players always spawn in the CTF_bluespawn enity that is closes to the team_wolf_objective entity (the yellow entity). (You do have a team_wolf_objective entity in your map I assume
)
I dont think you can have even spawns on the left and odd on the right, sorry. However, if you place the team_wolf_objective entity in the middle of all 32 spawn entities, players will spawn to the left and right.
Place the team_wolf_objective entity in the centre, recompile and let a bunch of people try your map on a closed server. To see if the spawns are working to your liking.

I read about an ID number for spawnpoints once but have no idea what it did, how you use it or whatever… might have a search for it, it could be what you need.

Btw, the map I am doing is CTF-Face, UT2000 remake, fp1 released
. (private released).

I started work on CTF-Face too but gave up very quickly…
Im not sure if it’s “allowed” to rebuild the map exactly for a free game…not sure though…
Is that screen from UT or your map? If it’s your map, looks damn good lol, exactly the same as in UT!
yes it is a screen from my map.
And the way I do it is allowed : Not using textures of UT, not importing their brushes. All by myself.
First playable already released (66.55.155.32:27960 only on this server till fp2 will be released).
Tried with spawnpoints : it worked, thanks Loffy! 
Btw, even the texture of the earth was taken from google, nasa sites (I think). As UT used exactly the same texture lol 
Actually i meant that you’re creating a map that is already made and copyrighted by the company that owns / made UT.
But i think you will be fine…
Well… They might have copyrights on the map, but if the game is old, like RTCW and there arent a lot of people whos playing it anymore, it might be ok…
I mean UT2000 is seven years old (correct me if im wrong), and a lot of new releases have been done, and he’s also using his own textures/brushes…
I think its ok, and that he will be just fine…

I was thinking of writing to Epic Games about that :). But I also modifyed the map a tiny bit, so that it is not just a 100% copy (and it isnt lol thats not possible).
Once I will release fp2 version I will post it here with direct link to download
