Spark's Revivr Hit detection

Since she came out yesterday it’s been stated all over the place that its hit detection for reviving allies sucks except for Merc discussion section so here you go.

It works best if you’re shooting them from above but generally speaking you don’t always have that option so if this could be rectified that would be great :slight_smile:

It gets better with practice, but I can agree that would be nice if it was little easier.

Was testing it with various charge levels as well to see if that made a difference which it didn’t, don’t know what more i can say regarding it.

Easier? You mean not broken? If you hit a downed teammate with the thing, it should revive them every single time. If it doesn’t work with a direct hit then it is simply broken.

I noticed that headshots don’t work most of the time but when I aimed for the torso or the legs it worked most of the time.

Speaking of: Anyone else notice health packs don’t seem to always give HP? I had that last night. I’m not sure if it’s intended or not, though. I mean, I only noticed it on myself, so I’d understand if it was some measure to prevent ridiculous self-healing or something.

I know the amount it gives is bugger all and sometimes doesn’t looking like it has done anything but mostly on high hp characters like rhino @GregHouseMD

I mean when I give it to myself. I haven’t noticed it with anyone else. It seems to occur mainly if I’ve recently taken damage. Which is why I’m not convinced it’s an actual bug.

I haven’t experienced anything like what the video here describes; def. sucks to have wonky hitboxes like those.

Oh, okay, so it’s not just me. At the turret platform at the back of the second section of the Trainyard map, my sniper partner went down and I was in cover under him and was spamming the crap out of my REVIVR to get him back up. Tried moving away and everything but it wasn’t working.

To me it feels like you have to hit the downed merc dead center. A hit to the legs or arms or head doesn’t do anything.

Also you need to have a Full charge to res yes? The games are so fast paced I don’t always notice if I had a full charge when I resed someone or if it was a partial.

I do see a msg you have resed so and so for 100& health, and others it’s lower like 77% health.

No need for full charge you can revive as soon as you go over the minimum but its like defibs higher charge more HP on revive.

I’ve played her for over 20 hours now and there are definitely a few bugs within it. It works a large portion of the time but does indeed have many occasions where it doesn’t, and where every revive counts, it’s really unfortunate.

Yeah the more I’ve played her the more random it seems to be. I can aim for just the head, or the centre of mass, or the legs, no difference. It seems to just do it sometimes and other times nuttin.

And the other posters are correct, a full charge does not matter in regards to the success rate.

Hope this gets fixed soon. It’s literally game breaking and I would hate to see this happen in a tournament and completely screw one team over.

I had guys giving me grief over voice last night because it would take 5 tries to pick them up, almost wish I had some shock paddles :stuck_out_tongue:
