The new update nerf sparks revive gun and the primary weapon she use is low damage compare to the shotguns,smg and assault rifles the other mercs have in they loadout. I’m wondering when they give her new weapons same as bushwacker or at least a better primary weapon for defence.

The rev gun is only good if you have “sniper eyes” and how do you want to defence or kill enemys on close range. I’m just thinking not saying that is necessary.

The REVIVR can still be used to initiate a fight against others with -65HP to your advantage and potentially oneshot all but 3 mercs in the game, as long as you’re within 18m now
You are still incredibly useful being far from the frontlines, just not as a sniper anymore

I understand that Sparks was a pretty strong merc in the right hands, but I don’t get why they had to completely change the way Sparks is played. They could have made it so that Vassilli would have a small advantage over her at long ranges while preserving her general playstyle. Getting killed by Skyhammers and the like at medium-long ranges is just not what Sparks used to be.

She’s a fragile, defensive reviver, not a damn combat offensive mercenary. Don’t like her role? Play Vassili.

I would have been firmly against this nerf several months ago, but now that Vassili can’t reliably gib with a bolt-action headshot… He just paled in comparison to the self-sustain, mobility, and support a Sparks could provide. This nerf was coming one way or another
Next up on the chopping block is Fletcher hopefully.
