Sparks in CQC

(pinkOrchid) #1

So I just bought Sparks. I get the whole medic thing, reviving and also using revive gun for medium range sniping. But I am having problems in close quarters. I mean sparks is not supposed to be a beast in cqc but I think you can do better than I currently am. I need some pointers from experienced sparks players. The card I’m currently using has Empire, selbstadt, cricket bat.

Always try to open a fight with a reivir shot.
A fully charged body shot still does 65 damage, this can give you the advantage you might need in a cqc fight.

Also use your speed to get away if needed, remember that 2 medic packs will more or less fully heal you.

Jump like a motherfucker, your machine pistols don’t suffer that much of an accuracy penalty.

Combine Speed + Hopping = annoying little shit.

Leading with a reviver shot is a good idea. The running away I picked up on and it works very well sometimes you can even trap kill greedy opponents by luring them to team mates.

I hate jumping like an idiot though, and usually I gun down jumpers pretty easily myself.

Run. Or severely outaim them with your Empire-9. It can give you a fighting chance but it’s overall pretty meh compared to a real primary.

How about using the bat or pistol?

I personally choose to run in a lot of CQC situations that are too fair. If they see me and I see them at the same time and I didn’t start out with an HP advantage I run. Running, jumping and med-packing to stay alive and then charge a REVIVR shot if you get clear and healed up restart the fight with an HP lead if you hit and run again if you miss. You turn into an annoying bastard but you not only keep yourself alive but if they chase either you or potentially one of your teammates will kill them if they over-extend.
