Sparks Fan Art Contest

The Sparks Update has brought an all-new Merc to Dirty Bomb, the long-ranged medic Sparks. With her specialized weapon in the REVIVR and bundle and a half of supplies, she possesses a unique look that sets her apart from the rest of the Dirty Bomb squad. Also, Sparks has had more short-term jobs than Vassili’s had headshots. Which areas of work has she smuggled her way into in her checkered career? It’s up to you to show us! We’d like to challenge you to see what kind of art our players can make with her!

From now through Wednesday, July 8th, you’ll be able to submit your original Fan Art of Sparks to our thread in the Official Dirty Bomb forums, where you’ll also be able to find the other submissions from our fans. However you create it, we can’t wait to see what you come up with, just make sure to look over the rules below for the details, and the big prizes, and get ready to stretch your creative muscles!

Contest Duration: June 23rd – July 8th, 2015 (11:59 PM PST)

How To Enter:

Submit your fan art, either in a link or as an image attachment, to this Forum Thread in the official Dirty Bomb Forums.
Entries will be showcased on the Official Dirty Bomb Twitter and [url= http://facebook.com/dirtybombgame]Facebook accounts after the contest ends!
Winners will be announced on Monday, July 13th.

Prizes:
Grand Prize Winner: 100,000 credits + 1x Elite Case
2nd Place Winner: 65,000 credits + 1x Elite Case
3rd Place Winner: 35,000 credits + 1x Elite Case
Judging criteria

50% Originality and Creativity
50% Skill and Artistic Merit

Rules: (Please read full rules here.)

  • Fan Art must be a representation of Sparks. Other characters can be present as well but Sparks MUST be in the illustration.
  • This can be a comic/manga, illustration, animation/gif, sculpture, papercraft, etc.
  • Have fun and be creative! Put your own artistic style into it!! Feel free to dress up Sparks however you wish!
  • Keep it clean, no nudity or anything that borderlines it.
  • Traditional and digital media is accepted.
  • No altered renders of the official artwork will be accepted.
  • Do not use another artist’s work or you will be banned from future contests.
  • No references of other licensed gaming characters or shows.
  • No sexual references or foul language.

EDIT: I WILL try to start drawing once I’m done with this Unit of summer school if no other business pops up in my way.

If the current niveau stays as it is i’m probably going to draw something like a semi pinup (of course with the full suit) sparks with a giant waffle and syrup or something and grab the first place or something…

Edit: @MissMurder , on second thought, I’d make it up to you if i draw her striking an action pose or on her knees with a giant waffle. Makes stuff a lot easier for me.

  • no nudity (wow Rhino, way to be lewd)

So I made a family friendly version of my original fanart. The version with Rhino wearing underwear will be the contest entry. The one with Rhino wearing NO underwear has been removed to prevent confusion… however you can still see it on my Twitter and Facebook if you really want to!
