could we please take care of these jerk bots who are spamming in this general topic? maybe ban them and delete their discussion @MissMurder ?

@cosmopolitanSponge they will be aware of it , as far as im aware we have 1 mod CC_Fang and i believe shes located in US which means she’ll most likely be sleepin right now.

Just trying to keep a lid on it, folks, It was bad last night, every time I took a few hours AFK I returned to like 4 pages of it in General Chat alone. Just know that no matter how bad it gets, when I manage to return I’ll be cleaning it up, no matter how long it takes.

many successful forums have better security, most use “captcha” not facebox for signups

Can’t you put like, a filter that stops/bans thread titles being posted in Korean or whatever it is? As a temporary measure.

Don’t even need to ban it from the body of texts, I’m sure just in thread titles would curb the issue plenty.

Seems like you guys need to look into a forum update, new CAPTCHA, change auth methods and do some IP block bans (temporarily) until the issue is under control.

Yeah I have suggested everything I know, but unfortunately any such changes are above my pay grade, haha. The only thing I can do is keep cleaning up and trying to make the forums habitable for all of you.
