South America

(tHONY) #1

Hello,

We need some South Americans servers again, right now we dont have no one, that servers named with South America are all hosted in NA making us (SA PLAYERS) plays with 150 ~ 250 ping, we already have a small comunity around 200 players (we could have more if u guys dont turned servers off) i dont see why Oceania have servers and we not, same with competitive servers.

I am sorry to tell you but Nexon wont turn on servers for 200 players (I know, I know). It costs more money and by the looks of things they dont have it.

People leave because of ping, we could have more people if have SA servers. and i have 100% certainly oceania dont have more than 500 people.

Splash Damage has NOTHING to do with the servers, they are a Nexon enterprise

There’s much more than that we used to fill up several servers just like how Aus does with their also relatively low playerbase. Honestly if they don’t want to have servers over here they should just rename the current pseudo-SA servers because it’s just damn stupid to pretend that they’re anything other than the same as other US East servers.

what frustrates me is their guts to name NA servers as SA. and having no prior explanation before removing those servers. Im pretty sure its something big, but we need an explanation goddammnit. Seriously, I wrote a post just like this one, and i was dissapointed in the manner Raz responded. Literally gave the link that contained the most amount of BS and basically said, “well too bad, read that sh*& and im out, peace”. Truly dissapointing and just full of BS.

Keep playing in US servers and speak spanish as much as possible, maybe you’ll annoy the american players enough to complain.

There’s more than that. South America contains A LOT of gamers. Just play any FPS, MOBA, or MMO. Not only that, but a lot of these players also spend insane amounts of money on games. That’s been my experience at least after talking to/playing with lots of SA players in many games.

I think I made the first thread about this back in February. I live in U.S. East and after that February/January update that changed the SA server locations, I immediately noticed it. It does cause some problems, especially with the language barrier (though lots of Portueguese/Spanish speakers know some English, which helps.

On the bright side, I have brushed up on my foreign languages.

That won’t work with US West servers, a lot of people in southern California speak Spanish, and to a limited extent with US East servers, since people in the midwest and the border still have to connect to one of them.
