The SA server still lagged since 2 months ago, nothing has nothing has been fixed. The ping are. The ping are the same of the US East servers.

that’s probably where the servers are, don’t think Nexon has any in South or Central America

From what I understand South AM servers are just southern US

They are in Miami, Florida. At least the last time I checked they were located there.

Great, but I wish I could play. I want NA players To imagine; you are a humble man, who loved this game for a time, had hours of fun with his friends.
But all that ended when The fire nation attacked and took away The servers in which he played with 120 ping and now is segregated with 370 ping ( unplayable)

There are the South American servers, where I played, I was apriximadamente 50 ~ 60 ping and now I get 180 ping frankly this is a lack of great respect with the South American of players, no explanation was gived about this.

I believe I made the first, or one of the first threads on this back in January or February. They said they were looking into it multiple times. The SA servers were not like this before that update in January/February. I’m a U.S. East player so it doesn’t affect me, but I just happened to notice that I joined a SA server and all of these SA players had 150+ pings whereas mine was 30 ish.

What Amerika says makes sense. I live in Florida so if the servers are in Miami, that would definitely explain why my ping is its lowest on these servers as compared to other U.S. East servers where my ping is 40-60.

Just need to keep hoping they fix it or make some necessary changes. Currently, there really aren’t any SA Servers.

It also messes up players on US East servers because SA players connect to a lot of US East servers due to their ping being slightly better or no worse. So US players have to contend with high ping players from SA. Which normally isn’t too big of an issue except that some of them also have packet loss or wayyyyyy too high of a ping for the anti-lag to compensate and they become either bad teammates or choppy players to hit.

afaik, Nexon closed the SA and Aus servers, SA handled by US east and Aus handled by Singapore

Man it was fine back then, i Just wish they returned some SA only servers. I dont even cara if they are only execution, i would play that everyday. Only for no lag

well, now the SA servers have like 200+ ping for me (tested yesterday and today), i’m still figuring if it’s a network provider problem of my country (chile) or this ping increase was due the “new” SA servers (perhaps you should change the name of the servers to US South, since the servers aren’t hosted on South America as far as i know, and i have better ping in US West/East servers now). I’ll check this days to see if i can determine the source of the ping increase

btw, There’s a way to see the packet loss ingame?

So you call the servers South American but they’re hosted in Miami? People playing from the USA have a better ping to them than South Americans themselves (of course they do, since they’re literally playing in their own country) and you either think that that’s reasonable (it’s not) or that south americans won’t notice/complain (they do)?

Why don’t you just host the RUS, EUR and ASIAN servers on New York while retaining their names? You’re obviously not above lying and I imagine it would be a lot cheaper, after all, even if you did that players would “play with little to no issues” because every decision makes sense as long as the majority of the people don’t notice and you just ignore those that do.

Wasnt much better for the rest of SA in brazil you know…the thing i used to have 150 on most NA servers and now i have 200+ in SA AND NA…so what did you do?

i’ve stop plating DirtyBomb since de SA servers move to USA, maybe some people can play with 150/200 ping and dind notice nothing wrong, but is not my case. This game is gona die son o later. I return to DOTA. BYE

The update from Raziel Warmonic is a ******* joke. There is no SA Servers, only de name remanin. THEY ARE USA SERVERS

What i don’t get is why putting the servers in florida would make players from even southern countries like Chile have a better time?
