Sounds silly but I play shooters sometimes with Daft Punk in the background. But only in games where the action is fast paced. The fast upbeat signature of the songs allows me to destroy people because it keeps me much more alert then usual. Kind of equal to when people drink energy drinks to increase that twitch reaction (which is ridiculous), but more on the concentration over long range scale.
Soundtrack for the Mayhem
I like to hear what’s happening around me. That’s why I play with 5.1 surround sound.
I used to listen to trailer music, all that adrenaline led to my k/d plummeting like Gabe Newell falling off the Eiffel Tower.
Kind of hard
Hard to see
When you crawl
On your hands and your knees
With your face
In the trough
Wait your turn
While they finish you off
Don’t know when it started
Don’t know how
Should have found out
Should have happened by now
Got these lines
On my face
After all this time
And I still haven’t found my place
I jump from every rooftop
So high so far to fall
I feel a million miles away
I don’t feel any thing at all
I like to play that song while blasting away at people on most shooters… Ahhh good memories.
I`d certainly invest in that!
On the topic of shootan muzak, nothing of your grimecore alternative nu**** beats old and proven.

Slade I usually find you to be mean and cantankerous but I like your choice.
Why would I? I don’t live with my parents
Headphones are only virtual surround sound unless you pay big dollars. My Logitech 530s were only $70 and are damn loud and awesome for FPS

Would have mistaken that for something out of Pendulum’s discography.
I don’t play music when playing a shooter however when I smoke shisha I play things like Queens of the Stone Age and Black Rebel Motorcycle Co among other things. Does that count?
