Soundpack help

(apollo127) #1

I took a friends soundpack and took out some of the vsays ect and tried to zip it back up with .pk3 in the name but when I put it on my server its still not running. I think I have something wrong with the vsay menu.

I wanted it to have its on menu in the vsay menu. Then inside of that have 5 different choices, each with vsays inside them. (confusing i know) anyways Its not showing any custom menus in my vsays and i dunno whats wrong!

If someone could please help me threw aim or something of the sort that would be great. I need someone to just check the files in the /ui folder and see if i have it set up right for the menu

thanks nail, I looked in there and everything looks fine menu wise. I dunno whats wrong. If anyone has some time ill upload the pack and send it to them so they can look threw it themselves and see if I did anything wrong

Maybe it might help if you’d look in your server log for any errors…
At least you could predict what’s wrong, errors may range from mistakes in the vsay scripts to wav files in a bad format.

PS: a little note about English:
-through: e.g. to go through with it
-threw: past time of throw, e.g. he threw something at me
Just for your information, it can be confusing to read sentences which mix words up.
