Sound predominantly on the right? (Just bought a pair of Logitech G430's)

So just Launched Dirty Bomb for the first time in like a week, and got a new headset. I am finding i am getting more of the game audio in the right side than the left? They are a pair of Logitech G430’s and the other games I have played (CSGO & XCom) I dont appear to have this problem, but the sound appears to be “weighted” on the right earpiece. Is this something I can tweak? I have surround sound disabled just so you know.

It’s really confusing to play like this xD.

I moved this to the tech support forums

Solution just in case anyone happens to stumble on this looking for answers, you know that dongle that came with the headset? as a lil usb attached with two inputs (1 for headphones 1 for mic)? throw it away and just plug the headset jacks in to your pc inputs, or keep it and only use the microphone (pink one) with the usb dongle as it removes alot of the interference that typically comes with using microphones with PC’s/Laptops.

The surround sound just isn’t worth it for inbalanced audio, not a trade off you should have to make.

Turns out it was happening in every game, it just wasn’t as “obvious” to me as it was in Dirty Bomb for some reason, the speech and your gun noise would be loud and crystal clear on the right headphone whilst the left lacked the TLC it needed only really receiving ambient noise and other game audio. Being a wannabee “audio-phile” this makes me want to do evil things to the engineer who conceived this hardware xD.

Anyway’s problem solved, I would like to apologize for thinking that this was a Dirty Bomb problem and not a hardware issue ; )
