sound mods?

so im new to the game and i was on a server the other day where people were playing sound clips like fps doug saying boom headshot! so where do i find those clips?

ppl usually “make” them.
means theyre taking sounds and cut them to pieces.
then u need to combine it with a script and put it all in a pk3 and put that up on ur server.

that was a very…rough explanation but u may get it.
there tutorials around for this :slight_smile:

if you played on a server with those sounds, you have them in a pk3 in etmain, or whatever mod folder that corresponds to the mod you were on

if you are thinking of getting sound clips to play during games you wont be able to unless you are playing on your own server. in other words if you want custom sound clips you have to play on a sevr that already has them
