I’m hoping someone has played around with this and knows the answer.
Other than the VOICE channel, that all of the official .sound scripts use, what are the channels that we can play wavs on?
The LDR says this:
playsound <soundname OR scriptname> [LOOPING]
Currently only allows playing on the VOICE channel, unless you use a sound script. Use the optional LOOPING paramater to attach the sound to the entities looping channel.
And it made me wonder what the other channels are. If there is another channel, then I’m hoping I can play two sounds at the same time with the wm_teamvoiceannounce command, by putting one on the VOICE channel, and the other on a different channel.
Also what does “streaming” in the .sound file mean? Are there other options we can use instead of streaming? That’s another thing the LDR doesn’t talk about, setting up a .sound file.
