I cant hear sounds of gunshots and air strikes if im not facing direcktly towards them and the sound was working fine before the mofo update. I have the logitech g430 headset if that helps. Thank you for the response.

Make sure its set to stereo and you dont have any kind of audio affects like stadium or dance hall for example. Also see if virtual suround is on if it is turn virtual suround off and see if that makes a difference

I had this same problem after I moved my computer. It might not be this easy for you, but my problem was just the audio port I was using. I switched to a USB adapter, and that solved it.
