Just lost about 7-8 matches (like this http://imgur.com/tXyrLxF planted the last obj in underground twice on the best spot but nah shooting is difficult I guess) in a row while I was top scoring every game, it’s getting quite annoying having a team which would need a 40 page tutorial on how to shoot .-.

soooo as the title says when is casual matchmaking planned for release? It better be when the second generation cards get released :cold_sweat:

and is there any news on what sd is planning for the system used, cause balancing around how someone played the last 10 matches is not the way to go since it doesn’t take into account how good your enemies in those last 10 matches were and how good they are now.

We’ll get an info dump on second edition cards after the ReV event finishes according to exedore. I hope it’ll contain a release date for those.

Hopefully never. Dropping in and out of servers has been in FPS since forever, it’s one of the main advantages of PC gaming, being able to browse through servers and choose one of your liking. If they implement “casual MM” they better give us community servers as well.

So you want balance because you lost a game but the fact you still shat on those people is perfectly fine? The difference in total points between the teams is around 5K. I was in games where the difference was 50K+ points.

Another huge problem with it is if you join a game and your team is getting wrecked, you can’t leave without a “penalty.” Then rejoining isn’t that simple because you might get the same game again. But, there’s supposed to be a server browser still so I guess that will help.

I just really hope that penalty isn’t implemented because even with balancing, there’s still a chance that you end up with a dumb team or incompetent players. I don’t know about you guys, but every time I join or start a game and my team is just complete shit, I leave. I only stay during Execution games because I can have fun and occasionally clutch rounds by hiding in the back while the enemies flank. But I’d rather not wait 15 minutes for an objective game to end. That just makes the game boring.

But if it’s mandatory, then RIP DB…
DB doesn’t have a playerbase big enough to afford matchmaking. Usually what’ll happen will be waiting in lobbies for minutes. Sorry, but no, I wanna hop in quickly into a game.

What? You will find games immediately, just like now you always find servers to join via Server Browser or Quick Join.

I surely hope the upcoming matchmaking has option to put people in same party to opposite teams.

Nothing more satisfying than whacking coursemate’s skull in virtual enviroment with a footlong wooden bat used in sports.

It got somewhat grim when we executed it in more reality induced enviroments…

Whenever I use quick join, it always puts me into empty min lvl10 lobbies, and the waiting begins…

Again one of those moments I wish I could hide my useless garbage levels or would’ve never had them in the first place.

Levels should never determine someone’s skill.

I already am way past lvl 20, so what? I just wanna hop in have fun, not wait minutes upon minutes for someone to fill in…
