Just wanted to know if I was missing something because, you guys are addressing every issue BUT parties.
I’m telling my friends who haven’t bought it yet to wait a bit because of all the other issues, and I’m putting my faith into you guys that you’ll at least acknowledge this specific issue(which I haven’t seen besides you guys buffing up the warm-up phase…but I can’t go into Freeplay with my friends to play together from warm-up…). My friends and I just want a fun new game to play with friends, and you guys are failing to deliver even that.
I am digging the game. I understand you guys are working diligently(I hope anyways…) to polish up the bugs and other issues…BUT the fact that people are petitioning to get a party system into a game that should’ve had one off the break doesn’t sit well with me…
If you guys want to work with the warm-up thing, that is fine! Make it so when creating a party you go into the warm-up phase(but without any actual game set up), and you can edit whatever playlists you want to go with, and as your friends come, they are put into the warm-up mode as well. That could work since you guys are so adamant about breaking away from the norm(which isn’t exactly working in your favor with this particular choice here) and doing a bunch of new things within Brink.
There is NO LOGICAL reason a party system hasn’t been implemented in this game(or EVEN ADDRESSED). There’s no reason people should be petitioning to put such a basic feature in this game. You can easily work within the warm-up thing that you guys love so much to create a party system(although a lobby would be great too)
I just want someone to give the word on whether or not you guys are gonna do this. I want to play with my friends in public freeplay matches…why is that such a difficult thing to do? I’ve enjoyed the game thus far, and I know once the bugs are all fixed, this game will be amazing, just want to know the status of parties.
