Quite the contrary, I suspect. I think these things tend to highlight imbalances, if any exist. Before Kira went on rotation, everyone was losing their collective minds over how allegedly OP her laser was. By the end of her time on rotation, hardly anyone even played her.

i normally play 6+ Hours a day, Today i played only 1, Why? too many Bushwackers and Vasili

It was annoying enough having 1 useless vasili in ur squad, but 4? and then full enemy with bushwackers… those turrets are OP

I usually just bring a heavy, especially Skyhammer to take out a group of dumbasses than switch back to the merc I was maining.

Most the time im the only nader in my team trying to blowup stuff on my way to objective BUT IF i get killed there are no medics to get me up…All i see are rhinos and bushies running in circles…

It’s not about imbalance, at least for me. I think Rhino is one of the more useless classes in the game. Vassili is amazing in the hands of a good player, but in pubs 90% of the time the only way he effects the game is if there are too many on one team and that team always loses which is annoying to play with/against. Bushwacker is fine but when there’s 4 turrets on the map along with 8 enemy mercs it just slows down the pace of the game and is thus, annoying.

For me it has nothing to do with these mercs being too powerful. I’m enjoying a ridiculous K/D ratio because of all the bad players using these mercs and not understanding how to use them. This rotation simply slows down the pace of the game and makes it annoying. That’s why people will not play as much during this rotation, not because any of the mercs are OP.

Having said that, I do think Bushy’s turret needs to be looked at. More health, less damage or something.

I feel bushwhacker’s turret is fine as is. It might get a surprise kill here and there if he leaves it on its own, but against anyone who has explosives or can pop out and take a couple shots it’s down.

Also this week has so many things to blow up as a nader player.

It seems to be about imbalance for a lot of people. I guess I understand your view. In the end, though, if you play pubs alone, this is going to happen, whether because three guys on your team decide to camp their own spawn as Vassili, nobody brings an engineer or a medic, or any number of factors. I’m personally very much against limits in pubs; I’m playing for fun, and I expect to be able to play what I want, and how I want.

Of course, not playing is your choice, too.

I don’t really understand how this rotation is worse than other alternatives, though. Free rotation will always lead to a greater number of the free mercs, and it doesn’t really matter that these three are free together. If it was only, say, Bushwhacker and . . . I don’t know, Sawbonez, you’d still see a lot of Bushwhackers.

The only thing that is bad about the rotation: Noone plays a medic now. If I don’t play with my 4 mates cause they work I am the only medic 100% of the games and only thing I do is running across the map revciving and healing rhinos. I like it tho, many support points and I’m easily the best in the round with 1 or 2 kills max.

The only thing that sucks is all the terrible Vassili players. Rhinos and BW turrets are both easy to deal with if you have a modicum of awareness.

Oh those Vasilis are easy to avoid if you move fast and unpredictable while shooting at them…

Every game tonight (pubs) was atrocious. Just plain bad. It was 3 games before I got a single revive.

As stated, the worst part is making Vassili free for two weeks. It’s bad enough that he appear to be the first merc a new player buys, now “everyone” slots him.

I saw a team of five Vassy and one Skyhammer last night. That’s not fun for anyone, regardless if they are all excellent shots or completely inept.

I still call for some incentive to actually play to win a public match. 20% more credits, something, anything, to make people care and not tdm.

Rhino is horrible. Most Vasilli’s are horrible. Bushwhacker is actually decent so it’s not all bad when the team is stacking him. Just learn to take out his turrets and you’ll be fine.
