Something wrong.

When I press one of the following key w,a,s, or d to move, it turns out off and on. The only way to make it work normally is after clicking w,a,s, or d, click sprint or w,a,s,d combination. After I stop moving, it happens again when I move. Same as “USE”, planting, repairing, and etc, it is also off and on. PLZ HELP!

Okay, sorry, I find it a bit hard to follow.

You’re saying that when you press and release ‘W’, the game acts like you keep it pressed?

  • Make sure to disconnect any joysticks/gamepads you may have, this game picks up any commands those devices send.

  • Rename your ShooterInput.ini file, located at Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\ShooterGame\Config. The game will generate a new file with default values. This rules out any issues with your key bindings. You can delete the new file and rename your own configuration file back to ShooterInput.ini if that didn’t work.

  • Make sure it’s not your keyboard. It could be sticking, it could be software that autorepeats your keypresses.

What I mean is when I press (hold) “W,A,S,D or F”, it acts like I press and release. I tried your way, but it didn’t solve the problem. I’m pretty sure it is not my keyboard. This problem doesn’t happen to my other games. I will try to reinstall the game. Thank you for helping.

Try refreshing your config files before trying to reinstall, key binds are not removed with uninstalling!

It solved. I change back to my old keyboard. I have no idea about why the new keyboard isn’t working for the dirty bomb. Whatever. Thanks for your time.
