When I add some object “water shading” and play the map in et, theres orange mesh there where water should be. But, if i walk over or shoot the water I can see the “water refletion”. :moo:
Something wrong with water
I started Mapping today so heres few other questions waiting for answer:
1: How is it possible to make sky realistic? I put a big “box” flying in the sky and used sky shading to it. It is ok, but it looks like “cube” 
2: I added a model using misc_model, but i cant rotate it. Whats wrong?
3: How i could create terrain elevations? Now i just have flat “box” ground with grass texture in it.
4: And i added misc_model “barrel” but when i try to add “func_explosive” to it, so it could be destroyed but editor says something like: cannot group something… blah blah…

Use the “ladder” shader found in the /common folder/pack?
I can make ladders but i wanted to make them look same like ladders in siwa oasis… :moo:
there is a ladder texture in the ‘alpha’ texture folder. Its called ‘ladder’ which i think is the one you want.
Yea. I know that texture but ladders in siwa are “round” that they look like they are made of iron pipe curved into shape… 
Still cant get water working. I tried all water shaders in “liquids”. In game, they all look like this:
try the water texture on just one face of the brush, make the rest nodraw, that might be your water problem.
to make a ladder like you describe youd probably would want to use patches
