Something is really wrong after the update

Now I can see quite improved optimisation, that’s really cool, but I am noticing few new critical bugs.

- Walk/Jump cancels reloading so you have to stand still to reload your weapon : Most critical thing I’ve ever had. Kept pressing R button, reset key bind, but nothing helped. Eventhough R key worked, I had to STAND STILL for the whole time because walking was considered as sprinting or something, that it canceled my reload all the damn time.

- Projectile evaporation : It was so clear I threw my cooked pineapple, but then the system says I did nothing! Not even ‘cancel’ throwing, since there was no 10 sec penalty. It’s better to have another chance to throw right away, but it really was embarrassing when first cooked nade were just GONE. I thought this was only Fragger’s problem, but I’ve experienced it with Thunder too.(But not as often as Fragger’s cooking.)

- Stoker’s fire does not gib downed players : Revived among fire. Can’t explain no more.

Is there anyone suffering with same issues I had?

I am still not sure if this is server problem(Especially 2nd one), or game’s own thing gone wrong.

I just played a match where i experienced everything you just said!
An enemy stoker tried to throw a molly at me and he just stand there jumping while i could see that the molotov was somehow bugged, seen and revived as sparks a friendly vassilli who was quietly napping under a fire coat, and another guy was raging bcause he had to press reload key 6 times before actually starting reloading, some dank stuff happening out there

For the projectile problem its Skyhammers airstrike grenade that wouldnt go sometimes even after it shows that i threw it.

On the other note i think they are going to fix those problems you said in the 3rd summer squash.

even some of the settings like F1 F2 bindings were gone. These patches fix one thing and break another…I don’t know where this is going…

Looks like something has gone opposite.

Not really.

Cause this time, I really felt something is totally not right with my skin.

Never ever experienced this kind of bug besides the old reload cancel causing critical bug : you can’t shoot eventhough the gun is loaded - which is similar but different.

Just like Fletcha suffered a bit with swapping problem last time,(Which was totally not intended by SD) I hope they launch any kind of hotfix as soon as they can.

Got key binding issue too. I just did 1 match so I had no time to experience other issues.

I thought it was just in my head that I wasn’t gibbing players with the molotov, wow, that’s a pretty bad bug considering his ability is supposed to deny an area (killing and gibbing anyone who walks into it or was in the area).

I found it just as funny when I would kill people with a melee weapon without seeing the melee hit animation myself

Yes Stokers flames are causing a lot of issues.

If you throw Thunders concussion grenade into an enemy Stokers flames, it does nothing a lot of the time. You can’t ever flash yourself, and half the time it will not flash enemies either.

Replication rate for me: More than 50%

Wait, Thunder’s concussion grenades don’t disperse smoke do they? I can’t say I’ve ever tried that, but your description brought this fantastic image to me of a Thunder trying to extinguish a molotov by throwing his flashbang at it, starting at it expectantly and then getting blown away in black/white contrast like in 90’s japanese cartoons.

yep all that but it unbound my F1 to 3 keys… so stuck as a skyham all day just raining ham. then ya stoker fire isnt as wide as the flames show or maybe there are cool spots.

Same here, the game is literally unplayable for me right now. The reload bug is probably the biggest bug I’ve seen on dirty bomb, how could you have let it happen? devs PLS

@blonk It never does. It was actually opposite though, that anyone who was inside the smoke was able to ignore the conc’s effect.

It only proved Thunder was shxtty merc before.

@Dox I have nothing to say, but really sorry that I had to delay our Ranked schedule. Guess we have to wait for urgent hotfix patch. I just can’t play the damn game right now because of those bugs.

Concerning stoker molotov, I throw 2 molotov at the EV on a game, and it didn’t do all damage it has to do. Even throw straight at the face of the EV, I had only the tiny hitmarker during 1s or so, but it must do damage during all the way of the EV through the fire (then approximately 3-4s or more)
I think it’s more bugged now.

its funny how this game went open beta in july 2015 and it was a well polished game then… now? its more like a pre-alpha build
