I have never seen a vote that was accepted…
Not a kick vote,
Not a shuffle…
nothing… People just dont care about votes…

That seems highly unlikely. I get the impression whenever a vote is initiated, there is always almost immediately a NO vote. I may be a bit paranoid here, but was it programmed that way, perhaps?
I compare this to AVA. Whenever a vote kick comes up, in more than half of the cases, the kick is accepted. AVA players are very keen on pressing yes. That’s the other way around, often players get kicked way too often.
Also the AVA community is MUCH worse than here.
@Aazhyd If you initiate a kick vote, the player who you are trying to kick will automatically vote NO and you will automatically vote YES !
That explains a lot. In AVA the one who the kick request is about doesn’t even see it, let alone cast a vote (not automatically either).
@Aazhyd I dont think you can see the vote going on if its against you(not 100% sure though). But if the vote fails (99% of the time), you will get a notification on top left side 'VOTE FAILED some words '…
I saw that once or twice with my name on it !
Some player would try to vote kick you , while you are still in the stupid 15 second cool down…(other players see you as an AFK guy standing at spawn)
You cant just call a vote and hope people sheep it. There is a MP etiquette to calling votes which some might not be aware of or perhaps dont understand.
Calling a Vote in a MP game:
If Not…
Then… (and only then)
Most will vote No unless u take those steps 1st.
If someone leaves midway through a stopwatch match, they receive no exp or credits for that game. There’s enough incentive there already nothing really needs to be changed.
You think getting spawn camped for 15 minutes is enough incentive for a handful of XP and credits? I’d rather leave and join another game which nets me much more.

AvA is the prime example how to not handle votes. You get kicked in that game the second you do something right by your own team. its ridiculous.
I have seen a couple of votekicks come through in the case of a blatantly hacker, even that took quite the communication tho. Skill shuffle never.
My personal stance on voting is:
I will never vote yes on a kick vote unless someone states a good reason (acting like an asshole, hacker) and I agree with that reason. Kicking someone because you don’t deam his skill as worthy of your team or you want to open spots for your friends will never get you my vote.
Skill shuffle I vote yes by default (except that one time I had 6 losses in a row and a win x objective matches). When the teams are allready close together, skill shuffle shouldn’t do anything anyways and if they are crossly imbalanced switching up will lead to a better game experience for everyone.
Casual servers in my eye are like a communal playgrounds/sportfields you make teams up with who is there and have fun no matter how different the skill lvl are. If two on one side have to leave (mom called for dinner ^^), the rest evens up the teams by switching. That is simple sportsmanship.
Same goes online Teams should always be evened out by numbers as best as possible. If people are unwilling to do so on their own (and lets face it online they are) we need an automatic solution instead. Since in casual play people are free to come and go as they please (and that is perfectly fine), the server needs to check constantly wether teams are still balanced or not (I’m talking numbers here not skill) and switch them over if neccesary. Sweaten the deal with a XP or credit bonus if you have to.
The problem with votes in Dirty Bomb is that it requires the majority from ALL the players - including the enemy team. Ever since they changed the vote system to this current system I have never seen any vote get passed against problematic people because the enemy team would always vote ‘NO’.
Kick an AFK in your team? Enemies vote ‘NO’.
Kick a mic-spammer in your team? Enemies vote ‘NO’.
Kick a troll on your team who picks up the EMP but runs and hide in the opposite side of the map? Enemies vote ‘NO’.
Why the heck does the system need to count enemy votes for problematic people in your team? It’s just dumb.
This would have to do a check to see you played both rounds though, and didn’t just backfill the last round.

sounds easy; game knows how long the rounds were, and how much base fee to assign you (so how long you’ve played). Imo >50% is enough to get the fixed bonus
The MAIN problems are the contracts that REQUIRE you to WIN a certain number of games.
Well 50% isn’t half the game, because round 2 might last 2 minutes where round 1 lasted 15.
Yes it is easy, I’m just saying the check has to be there because otherwise people are gonna hop stopwatch servers to get massive boosts.

Yes I meant 50% of total gametime, not joining mid-round
Please add auto team balance for unranked matches or punish leavers. Just played a match 4vs7 in round 2 of a stopwatch match
Something can be done. The main reason why people leave in numbers is because they get totally destroyed by the other team. All games should have an automatic reshuffle on the beginning of the game according to skill level. It isn’t a perfect solution, it is is bound to annoy those who stack teams (join up with friends) in pub games. Still I rather sacrifice the possibility to play with friends on the same team in the casual mode than the general enjoyment of the game.
I agree that the win missions should be removed, especially Stopwatch wins. I literally just cancel those missions whenever I get them. An incentive given to people who switch (whether the system gives them a choice or forces them onto the team with auto balance) I agree should be put into place.
Leaving ties into there being zero reward (aside from “win x” missions) to actually stay, fight and win a round. I keep hoping for some meager 10-20% credit bonus, or token toward an extra case, for the winning team.
