Last I saw, Den was saying foregrips/muzzle brakes didn’t make any difference. This might be accurate for PC, but from testing myself I can say this DEFINITELY doesn’t translate PS3, god knows about 360.
Someone please explain this to me.
tried it makes a huge difference but its made for hipfir aparently i read iN game somewhere…
Stability gives you better hip-fire accuracy, it reduces the spread of your crosshair. It also gives less kick when ADS.
I jumped into Escort Duty, stood in the spawn room in the same corner, aimed at the same spot on the wall, ADS’d, fired all clips on full-auto of both the Gerund & Galactic; at first using only a Yeotek, then adding a Muzzle Brake, then replacing that with a Foregrip, then using all 3.
I made a mental note of where the recoil led me to on the wall with each clip… I didn’t even need to record my results for more accurate referencing, the difference in stability when equipping Brake/Foregrip was so blatantly obvious, I was dragged about half as far up the wall as opposed to when I didn’t equip them.
EDIT: Also, when you burst-fire a Gerund w/ COGA, the scope still shakes even though the gun doesn’t recoil. Brake/Foregrip noticeably reduces the severity of the shaking.
I haven’t seen that, but my personal experience is that they make a big difference on some guns and less so on others. Whatever the case, I’m just saying that the stock numbers given in his chart are probably accurate.
It was in a forum post or something (that site confuses me) that I was linked to by somebody, he was taking questions and testing attachment & skill effects on weapons.
