Some suggestions

My first suggestion would be to have a more fleshed out profile menu when you access it. Rather than showing only notifications and what kind of missions are available for you to complete, introduce something ala DotA 2’s player profile menu. For example: You can see your favorite squad, most merc played, most proficient merc etc. These examples don’t sound like much but I’m not going to list every single thing that can be implemented, you all have grand imagination I’m sure of it so you can devise it however you want. I do not think this is something that will be gamebreaking and should be added just something I would like to see and I do not see the harm in it.

My second suggestion revolves around giving players some kind of positive credibility points for reporting people who are actually hacking. On the other side you would get negative points for false accusations. I was just thinking about this addition because there are people who get their asses handed to them by players who are really good. (I myself fall into the whooped category  ) With the addition of the ‘report a player’ option people who are getting whooped think that players who are better than them must be cheating/hacking. If people at SD check every single report this suggestion isn’t something that’s needed. I don’t know if something like this could help the SD people but just something I came up with.

For my third and final suggestion I would like to see an option of selling mercs for half the price or even lower than that. I’ve stated that from this introduction the players can benefit. I have some buyers remorse regarding Arty and I don’t want to have him in my roster. Don’t want mercs who I know I won’t play just sit there and gather dust.

First point: This is a definite must, and as such will problem be added later on in the game’s development road cycle.

Second point: Not a bad idea, but as it stands what could a player get from this? An equipment case? There isn’t a lot of room for awarding.

Third point: I disagree. You will most likely end up purchasing all the mercs to make your profile look complete. If you don’t like a merc, then it is also partially your fault, that is what the free weekends are for.

Thanks for the response. Regarding the second suggestion, I really didn’t think about rewarding players for doing some ‘cleaning’. I think of it more as a tool to help people at SD in case they aren’t checking every single report, if in fact they do check every single one I don’t think that this ‘system’ is needed. What I meant with ‘tool to help people at SD’ is that if a person with high amount of these points reports someone, the people at SD will know that the reported person is probably hacking because of the high credibility points of the sender.

And to discuss your third answer, I actually did play Arty on free rotation, played ten or more games with him and I think to myself… What a wonderful world, just kidding. I was thinking how he would fit nicely, but when i bought him and played a few times I just thought that he was a bad buy and actually no reason to play him over skyhammer. The fault isn’t partly mine, it’s 100% mine.

You have no idea how much that happens to me.

During free weekend, “Wow this merc is amazing!”

After forking out 50k credits “Why do I suck so much.”
