Some questions on accuracy levels and walk-types

(acQu) #1

Some questions i always wanted to ask:

  1. W:ET had different accuracy levels when in a certain “walk-mode”. Is this type of behaviour also added to DB in the future ? For example: crouching gave more accuracy, also walking. Sprinting less.

  2. Another thing: what is the difference between shooting in iron sight mode compared to shooting from hip. I can’t make any difference somehow. Maybe add more accuracy to iron sight mode, so that it is more effective on long range. Camden comes immediately to mind, there are lots of places where an effective iron sight mode would make more sense.

  3. Can i have increased walk speed  I think on standard settings this once was on the ‘Q’ key, but walking currently is just lame.

Increase base movement speed overall in my opinion. This would make strafing and back peddling faster and inherently walking. You can keep sprinting the same speed.

Crouch and iron sights should decrease spread and recoil a lot more than they do now imo.

At least the recoil should be severely reduced with ironsights. If only because the recoil bothers you more while zoomed in than while zoomed out regardless of range.

Yeah but can somebody explain the details to what is the difference on point 2  There is none as far as bullet spread goes, right ?

I also feel that the recoil is hindering you to properly use iron sight on long range (it is not recoil actually, but zig-zagging more or less, guess that is also recoil, but a different kind). Also i still would prefer coupling this to ironsight only firemodes maybe, where you will burst fire 3 bullets and apply a different learning level just to iron sights this way

Haven’t retested in the new patch, but using iron sights in DB greatly reduces horizontal random spread but not vertical recoil.

EDIT: never mind, doesn’t do that anymore.
