Some Proxy gameplay

(Setzaroth) #1

I’m still new to the game, all things considered, but I think our team did fairly well here, and I wanted to share the gameplay.

Sorry, I can’t figure out how to embed a video with BBCode here. Usual methods aren’t working. =/

Nice vid, but can you please put this in Fan Creations next time round?

Didn’t realize that was down there.

I suppose someone will move it if it’s that big of a deal.

Some things I noticed:

  • With Proxy, walljumps can be amazing for an aggressive shotgun playstyle. They get you places faster, make it hard for people to hit you, and can allow you to get behind slower mercs. Practice your trickjumps, it helps a lot
  • Place your mines near corners so they’re harder to see, and change up where you place them. Otherwise people will start remembering and shooting them first
  • Don’t be afraid to switch to your melee weapon more when running. You move faster, and it’s easy to switch back.
  • Try increasing your FOV a bit, it helps a lot

Hope this helps a bit!

Do not forget to revive some teammates when you can (especially aura lying next to her healing station).

Ya… It takes so long to get people up, I usually end up getting killed when I’m not a medic trying to revive.
