  1. Choke points doesn’t matter as you can always long jump in some direction to avoid martydom.
  2. Nader doesn’t need to be playing, we are talking about martydom.
  3. Martydom would do absolutely nothing at mid range.

Your statement was that you could not get out of range in time due to the ‘short’ timer and the aoe range of the bomb. My videos proved you wrong on both counts, and it doesn’t matter if the Nader had been moving and shooting or not because once she dies she drops on the spot and the same situation as in the videos arise. If you’re unable to make the jump in time because your reaction speed sucks that is YOUR fault.

I even gave you leniency in the test by jumping OVER the Nader’s body instead of spinning and taking the shorter path, you were still wrong.

Someone want to tell me how do you long jump? Been playing for 2 months and never knew you could even do that in the game LOL. Honestly though, forget all this long jump, reaction stuff, I just don’t knife her, instead I use my secondary weapon to finish off. Problem Solved.

Damn I’m late to the fun :smile: .

Anyways not gonna go into the mudfest. Just some quick facts.

Nader Martyrdom has the damage and range of a Fragger grenade. That means it has a radius of 240 units.
The slowest merc in the game, Rhino moves at 350 Units/s literally any Merc can get out of range when they start running the moment they drop a Nader.
No longjump needed (IcySkyz to do a longjump hit crouch, right before you sprint jump, I hear toggle sprint helps, but isn’t needed).

Can you avoid Martyrdom 100% of the time, no.
But you can do alot to avoid it most of the time.
Like getting out as soon as the grenade warning icon comes up (sound advise not only for martyrdom :wink: ).
Not trying to finish a Nader with melee.
Working to get a slight bit of distance between you and Nader as soon as you have a fight with her (likewise a good Nader might try to hug you, incase she looses the fight, fair tactic).

If you repair or defuse and don’t want to react to the grenade warning your own fault.
Or to be more frank the fault of your teammates that should have watched your back and didn’t manage to kill Nader before she reached you (don’t be mad at Nader who did everything in her capabilities to stop you, be mad at your teammates for not doing their fricking job).

I hope that you are not telling it serious. If you played Source games then you should know that you do same thing. If not,then just crouch and jump in one time.

TLDR for that topic. Obviously they do not need a nerf. They need skill to be deal with or play with.

Aka:Do not try to knife Nader since General Ackbar even knows that it’s a trap or kill Rhino from close distance since it is his field.

They do have a weakness:Rhino doesn’t move fast and is a good “sitting duck” for all mercs which are not rushing him with shotgun(any other gun can kill him before he kills that person).

For Nader:If you do not want to be killed by grenade launcher,try to stick closer to her. I bet that normal Nader won’t do that since she can kill herself(and that would be a weakness for teamplay). So in shortcut:She sucks on long range and close range until she picks smg which means normal fight.

With Vassili, it is easier to do two headshots on Rhino than one headshot on other mercs with crazy amount of speed… Come on, you can’t ask to nerf Rhinos HP, it’s like asking for proxy, bushwacker and fletcher not to have that PDA or whatever (not to be objective specialists…)

Everybody have their abilities, and I think this game is almost completely balanced (pls, don’t bring up Phantom, I think he is very balanced now)…

You use shotguns still? Use autos all the way, going CQC with a Rhino is asking to die.

Also Martyr is useless if you’re good and can avoid placing yourself in a stupid situation. Just have long jump ready and jump away as soon as you get that last hit.

Welp, this went on long enough while we were all asleep. Please, everyone try to remember that even though you put your opinion out there you might be faced with criticism and need to be able to defend it. Defend and discuss without insulting each other that is…especially direct insults. Crossing the line means I have to do some work and despite being a mod I hate being a mod for exactly this reason.
