I find it funny how you say “Martyrdom is the easiest skill to avoid in the entire game” Yet you do not state how… Cute
It’s simple. You don’t melee a Nader.
But why?

I thought you had all the knowledge? This is a pretty clueless response. Because they explode and smart players try to keep their distance. Literally every problem in this thread could be solved by just keeping some distance and using your superior speed to gain said distance.

This is like the ultimate noob thread, Rhino and Martyrdom complaints in one.

Martyrdom is the easiest skill to avoid in the entire game, it also requires the player to be dead and prevents them from being revived. Any skill that takes you out of the game is already much worse than a skill that doesn’t, a living player is far more useful than a dead one.

Rhino is slow and large, really easy target. Rhino’s minigun is quick to fire because you can keep it spinning, but when you do that, you make a very loud noise. You know what I do when I hear that noise? I go to a different location.
Learn how to long jump and you will not die to martyrdom ever again unless you make a mistake. Just stop trying to knife downed naders…

Yep, Rhino is as slow as a pet rock and has the hitbox of a barn. Just stay a bit away where his minigun is inaccurate and shoot him, you can’t miss. If you want to get in close, dunno why, use your speed to run circles around him, make yourself hard to hit. Just stay at a distance and you have an advantage over Rhino. He’s SUPPOSED to be the strongest merc up close, that’s the entire point, if he gets in close he has an advantage. It’s the only place he HAS an advantage.
It’s impossible to jump out of Nader’s Q range for it’s an instant cast you can not avoid it unless you are the right distance. I agree with the other guy yes it takes her out of the game 100% correct but the unavoidably of it is what does not make sense. Also You run away cause you know he is broken that gun nearly one shots. The only way I have found to get rid of rhino is with fragger and I play proxy as well thing is with him he only need to get a few shots on you Proxy is powerful close range too with her shot gun but she can not out duel another close range carry? That does not make any sense… and yes I am m Hard to hit with proxy!
You absolutely can long jump out of nader’s martyrdom range. I do it all the freaking time.

You say that but I guarantee I have just as much game knowledge as you possibly more…
I very much doubt you do, considering you don’t even know about a basic mechanic such as long jumping.

Rhino is a tank, proxy is a squishy 90 HP engineer. WHY when she has machine pistol secondaries should you not stay a bit away and shoot at him, WHY should you win a CQC battle against a CQC tank more often than not? That’s his entire role, it’s NOT yours. You are a speedy engineer, don’t try to rush a bear head on, flank around and play to your advantage…
Long jumping an instant E Interesting… Why does he need so much HP? You don’t need skill to play him just sit in a corner and shoot you can’t flank him cause he just turns and kills by the time you get you’re 3rd shot in you can be an ASS Rhino and turn on kids he is just that broken why does he need that much health… you obviously can not ready my post…
Why does he need so much HP? He’s a freaking tank! It’s his whole job, his entire purpose! He’s also the slowest merc in the game with the biggest hitbox! THAT’S why he needs 200 HP. Toss a mine down, shoot mine, kill Rhino after. EZ. Stay away, use MP to riddle him with bullets while his minigun is inaccurate from a distance. EZ. Learning to play the game instead of making posts like this? Apparently not EZ.
The Average Health of every merc is 105 Total HP But Rhino has double… Why… The only one closest to him is fragger with 150 This is not a necessary amount of HP

I love threads where some players without knowledge about things decide what game-devs should do and what not.
We had those “NERF FUCKING RHINO!!!” threads a while ago in the last rotation. Then the next came and people totally forgot about Rhino, cause they had a new beatstick, Phantom. Now Rhino is again satan, all abortions and the antichrist in one person.
Also what @cornJester said. Gold 4? Bwahah.

Now compare their speeds and hitboxes. Rhino is the slowest and the largest by an equally large margin, meaning he is the easiest to hit. If you don’t bumrush him he’s easy to kill.

Don’t go near her body. It’s that damn easy.

OFC It is “That Damn Easy” When you are playing an AR Slayer instead of an OBJ Type player like Proxy… You can pretty much spawn and just die with her to win games “It’s that damn Easy”
What? You think I’m an “AR Slayer” just because I’m not retarded enough to die to martyrdom? It doesn’t matter which merc you play, don’t go near her body. It’s so easy, I’m 100% sure that monkeys could be trained to avoid martyrdom.

martyrdom. that’s why. her martyrdom isnt instant either once the player presses E the nade still has to fall and wait a bit before detonating. At higher levels people will use this time gap to their advantage and jump near the body to make her use martyrdom then long jump away. Secondary (Martyrdom): Can only be used when killed, but not finished. As of Fletcher update, the grenade detonation will not be cancelled if Nader is finished after the grenade was armed. Martyrdom has a 0.25s arming time, preventing Nader from instantly arming it after being killed. Detonation time of the grenade is 0.9s.

A Rhino that doesn’t move is a dead Rhino to anyone who knows how to play the game. Unless of course he is camping in some corner that you can completely avoid. Just shoot him before you walk into minigun range or blow him up. Seriously, how hard is that? Not nearly as hard as you make it out to be.

(Jostabeere) #35
 1. There is a timegap between hitting F and the grenade exploding. You might know this if you ever played Nader.
 2. Rhino don’t need to move, but you can do it. But let me guess, you never played a Rhino, right? It is fairly easy to dodge the minigun since no Rhino ever just spins it up in the open. If you know there’s a Rhino behind a corner, ignore him or wait for support.

I Average a 30/15 KDA In DB Competitive I hardly get killed by her to be completely honest I main Fragger and Proxy I have a Group Of friends that I play with and we all came together to write this post to see if we could reach out to Devs We went over every single merc and these ended up being the only 2 that have some huge issues…
