About his Reborn project I’d read this somewhere

…The game was set to be called “Reborn” and would have been free to play with a pay element to buy maps beyond the original maps developed by community members (the incentive being that the creator could make money from the map) and other non-intrusive non-“pay to win” pay measures…

Which I think could be a good idea for DB

Doing a Map building Contest in the community could have a huge Result imo.
Many love doing maps and knowing they might have a good $ prize for it could be cool.
Not to surpassed present level designers but to make the Community Larger and committed to the game.
And SD could make 1000% more than the prize they invest in it .
Even if I mb wont do maps I would be thrill to see whats people can do and see who will be the winners

Edit:
What if for x money there was an builder maps tool integated in the game that could be use and once the map is done
We click summit to SD !
Than its will be review by SD staff for approval than made them accessible if approved to the Testing maps community by the same Addon tool (only users that paid for it)
So SD will have an income for the tool and for the futur Map pack release.
And the map that the Builder tool will do, could be coded in a format that they will be translate on SD side to fit their programs .So in short the Builder tool wont be actual real game secret program used by SD

2DG is a nice comentator.
But only his collaboration with Joe Miller in ESL times was REAL awesome. some of the best commentary ever.

Maps must be free !!! If you make some kind of DLC then you just split the community, as BF did.
