Some ideas to add to the parkour in this game.

Coiling - While in midair, hold crouch to make your body smaller.

If the game doesn’t already do this, do it, so people can keep their speed when jumping over objects or through windows.

Spring Jump - Press jump just before you hit the ground to go a bit higher into the air, works only once, so you can’t bunnyhop, but you could chain it with wall jumps.

Just adds more to the speed of the game, so carefully timed presses allow you to get where you need to be quickly. This wouldn’t quite be the same as bunnyhopping, but rather instead allow people to get extra height on their next jump if they time it right. But you couldn’t do it twice, the game will force to stop the next time you hit the ground.

Sliding - Pressing crouch while running will allow you to slide, there is no special animation, you’ll just gradually go into crouch walking speed rather than the instant you press crouch.

Just allows more flexibility, and maybe would add more to the game later on if we small nooks we could slide under.

Just some things that I thing would be easy to add and still would add a lot to the game.

Go back to play Assassin’s Creed if you want parkour.

The moment they add Sliding in this game is when i officialy quit this game.

Also this ^

It’s fine as it is imo.

Nope. So much nope.

I’d just like it to be a bit easier, I suck at getting to the places where you need perfect wall jumps

Train and you will get better, just like everyone.

You can already hit crouch to make your body smaller to make some jumps possible or easier. One of the prime examples is if you’re attacking on Trainyard going to the 2nd objective and take the left path there is a hole in the ground inside the shelter that has a spool of wire (or something) there that you can jump through if you jump and crouch. You can’t do it without crouching. Also, the window jump on the first part of attacking trainyard that everyone knows is a billion times easier to do when crouching. You can do it without crouching but it’s a bit harder.

Long/super jump = sliding in this game basically.
Coiling already exists as crouch jump.

The movement in this game is already pretty insane. The only thing I could see would be adding ledge climbing which would making cheesing up onto the defender balconies in Terminal that much easier (TBH I still can’t do that pillar jump).

Don’t post those kinds of ideas here. You’ll be bashed by casual players that don’t like complexity. Try here instead : http://forums.warchest.com/forumdisplay.php/52-DB-General-Discussion-and-Feedback
I always felt that the parkour system in this game is too simple or too restrictive.
Though I really like the Spring and Sliding. I feel that Coiling is the same as Jump + Crouch.
